Some help choosing a great sounding SQL sub

Ive been thinking about 15" SQL woofers.

I want to spend around 350-550$

and maybe a have smaller box. Please suggest a box and even maybe and amp.

For wattage im thinking around 1000-1200 rms

Ive been thinking about the Fi q 15 with a sundown 1200w , in maybe a sealed box

its going where one of the seats are in my 2007 gmc sierra crew cab (new model)

Im new with car audio and brand new to this sight.

REMEMBER sound quality is a big requirement

May want to check out incriminator audio and digital designs. Sorry can't link up very well on this phone. Diycable has a good malestrom 15" that is perect for sql in 15,18 and 21.

nothing this power handling/sound will be anything close. on a mb quart dsc2000

the only other option i would think of is this passive radiator and sub combo will get really loud and the shiva-x2 might be one of the bests ounding subs out their, id put a saz-1000 or if u want a super clean amp, Zed Audio Corporation

but id jump on this amp asap

Ok with the ssa xcon, how would the sound quality compare with a w7?

and would the sz1200 be a good choice for amp?

12" Level 4 served me incredibly as a SQL woofer. Was fine in around 1.7cubes @ 32hz. So doesn't need a huge box. Not recommended to be sealed, however.

Arc Audio Flatline would fit the bill perfectly i believe. Great sq, 1000rms, .9cubes sealed or 1.8 ported. Look into it.

xcon is a much better sub then a w7 apples to oranges and yes the 1200 will be plenty

sundown is a great amp, kenwood is meh and overrated. there are lots of great amps that do that much power, what is your budget?
