Just a little background info: When I turned 16, 2 and a half years ago, I decided to "pimp" out my car. Having a lot of Sony products in our house, we turned to Sony for my car audio equipment. That is a decision that I have regretted ever since.
Right now I'm trying to un-Sony my car, but the problem is I'll be buying a new car in the summer, and plan to get that set up nicely. I'm looking for a 4 channel amp I can hook my speakers up to right now, so I can learn to install it myself. Throughout the past two years I've gradually taken apart the terrible install Best Buy did for me. I want something that will last me until my next car, and I'll be truly happy carrying on to my next car, and not having it be a throw-away. I'm looking at the Kicker KX200.4 and the Kicker KX350.4. I'm wondering if the upgrade from 50 watts per channel to 90 will be noticable enough to substantiate an $80 cost difference. I'm looking to spend the Christmas cash I got, so somewhere below $330.
Also, I'm just looking for some ideas for reasonably priced subs/speakers/mono or stereo amps for my next car.
Thanks for any help/suggestions, hope my ramblings were easy enough to read.
