Solo X powering question

Already a buddy of mind has chosen to go with a 18" Solo X. And will be buyin a Orion 2500d from me,He wants to know if he should buy a dual 2 ohm and run the orion at 1 ohm or buy the dual 1 and run it at .5 ohms,The sub it self will be in a 10cuft port box+plus sub a port displacement.Thanks for any imput

do the dual 1 ohm and run it at .5ohm on a orion 2500D that should be close to 3000Rms if the alt is high out put. better run 1/0awg.
