solo x ohm issues???

High there everyone i have a good question some of you may laugh and say what a noob but ohwell i got two solo x 12's on a trade recently tested all the coils and they all shown around 3.6 or 3.7 dual 4ohm btw but i go to make a trade the other night and one of the subs shown 6.2 ohms on one of the coils all the other tested the normal 3.7 so whats the deal here??!! Tested it again today same tester same thing think its my volt meter?

Replace the batts in your multimeter first off

if the first readings were the sub just sitting on its own with no wire, then its about right. No need to worry.

Is the 6 ohm reading while its connected to an amp or when wired in the box? All of these will raise or lower the impedance

Both readings were outside of a box off of the motor assembly tried it again on the motor same thing

How is a 6ohm reading ok for a d4 when everything else reads 3.7???? My solo x was always within .2

im saying a 6ohm reading when connected to an amp, box, or wire may lower or raise the final impedance
