remember, this is only on 150-300watts (300watts max-probably not being obtained)

still very happy with the setup, cant wait to get the kx2500 and the solox10 in the place of this equipment.

going to re-build the box (an additional box) with a port facing foward, and sub mounted inverted on the front of the box.

thanks : ) can't wait to get a solox10 in that thing, it'll sound alot louder, wish i had an actual sub amp too, not just bridging the 4 channel class a/b amp like that, definately not the right way : )

well, i did the electrical upgrade today, ran all the kicker 0 gauge i bought from my Authorized Kicker Retailer! I've ran alot of wire, audiopipe, monster, stinger, Knukonceptz, and i gotta say, this kicker 0 gauge takes the cake on easiest to work with, you'll see what i mean.

so let me outline the project, adding this battery:

to this electrical system:

very small car, hard to work with think it'd be a ***** to run 0 gauge through huh?

not with this wire, it rained 90% of the day, at 4 o clock, i had a window in the rain, so it's 6:30 now, in that time, i re-did my factory power wires, covered them with loom, drilled out the 0 gauge hole in my firewall for 2- 0 gauge wires, ripped out the old 0 gauge wire, pulled up my carpet, put in the new wire, replaced the carpet, and wired the battery in the rear, all with a razor, a socket set, and a set of allen keys, amazing? possibly. probably not though, but this wire definately made it easy to do, if you close your eyes, and pick up the wire, it feels like gigantic spaggetti, it's an installers dream.

have you ever seen 4 runs of 0 gauge lay like this?

crazy, and it wasn't hard to tie-wrap them like that, very easy to be honest, i'm just amazed by this wire, and yes, it was worth 5 dollars a foot.

what did all this work give me?

almost 15 volts, i re-tested with my other DMM, gave me 14.89, so one of them is off, but they both cant be THAT wrong, i'm pretty impressed.

sounds good so far, cant wait for the real solox to get in, and the kx2500.1

side note: deal on ebay for 2 solox10's and a KX2500.1 for 999.99 (+65 ship)

crazy deal : ) i emailed him, he said he's gonna run 2 a week until the end of time, because he has some kind of contract with someone, comes with the warranty too, and serial numbers, cant beat that.

went to my local kicker dealer, checked out the solox10 first hand, i ****ed up on my box : / i have to make a new one, the solox10 needs to have a full baffle, not a baffle+walls, so i have to remake the **** thing, i'll build it bigger this time to go the full width of the trunk, and have the port extrude from the box, foward, into the cabin, and the woofer, face up, behind the port, centered in the box so i can utilize kickers BAM-SPLAT bolt mounting system.

okay, so you have a washer, a nut, and a bolt, right?

well this is how kicker rolls

normally-------- bolt>washer>speaker>box>washer>nut

kicker----- bolt>bam>speaker>box>splat>nut

they make a mounting system it's like a big square washer that goes arund the whole woofer, underneath my woofer, there is no room for this, as two of the sides of my woofer are directly on the wall, so i need to move the woofer to the middle, and thus build a new box.
