solid core wire vs strandard wire

i can get about 0/1 soild core wire . or i can get 2 ga stranded . what would be better to run in a car . i know the solid would be harder but performance wise?

Stranded wire is typically much more flexible, so it would be easier to run. The 1/0 can carry more current, but it may not be necessary. What amplifiers are you using?
