So why is nobody talking about the Sundown full bridge amps?

We all know that people will fall I n love with "full bridge" now since Sundown is doing it now. They all shitt on full bridge until Sundown jumped in to the full bridge game. Too funny! Now, who is copying who? Sundown let all the other full bridge companies figure out the bugs and shortcomings. Then, they jumped in head first with a couple of upgrades that the other companies figured out in the real World.

I bought a Taramps Smart 3 amp a couple of months ago but decided to sell it because of all the set up issues regarding voltage and the extra electric back up needed.

Im looking into the Sundown SFB 1500D or the 2000D, could I feed it 4v to 8v of input voltage? I want to run it out of an audio control lc7i

yo @hispls how is this holding up? Thinking about pulling the trigger on the 8k this week. Even at 639 still seems like a good deal with a 2 yr warranty
So far so good. Made some good numbers at the one show and haven't given me any trouble. That said, I'm not driving the Jeep a whole lot these days.... really I'm so busy I'm not driving much at all, but I'm also very confident that between Sundown and the local dealer I don't have anything to worry about if something does go wrong.

It's basically like strapping 2 half bridge mono amps but they use about half as many parts. For practical purposes yes, the big difference is they're not very abuse tolerant compared to the half bridge we're all used to running.

The "exact same" except without dual power and ground, dual speaker terminals, or remote knob, you have to pre-order, and you're dealing with a company that's going to disappear if something goes wrong with a line of products they import.
Nope they are the exact same amplifier do they come with a bass knob I'm not sure I know the first pictures of their 5K had a single power and ground but now it has dual power and ground I wouldn't worry about wolfram being around they seem to be pretty solid at this point

And by solid you mean nobody has got burned yet or they have a facility that's the size of 3 super WalMarts and 20+ employees full time? You surely have been around long enough to see a dozen """brands""" like that come and go.

If things go tits up on a pre-order or new product there's only a handful of companies that we could count on to make good and Wolfram doesn't even close to make that list.

Just another reason why Sundown is my favorite all time car audio company. Love Jacob and everything he does. I've never ever been disappointed with a Sundown product from day one.

How are fullbridge amp efficiency compared to half bridge In real world applications? Seen some dynos where they fair worse than Koreans?
I don't believe it's safe to make a blanket statement as to full bridge is always more/less efficient. I think you'd need to consider each board on its own. I have not seen any data on these yet.

Keep in mind that you will virtually never see test bench conditions in your car playing music so don't read too much into those published efficiency specs either.
