So whats the deal with RD Audio??

Sundown wasn't always popular he had to work his way into a customer base.
AQ and sundown have had more reputation built up than RD has had.

And why is that, why isnt RD up there with them, they been out for what 2 years or a lil more, sundown around the same, and the HDC3s the newer ones for around 1 year, and they out sell RD by along shot

Not sure what the deal is with your setup then. Install is everything though. Did you play below port tuning? I have played with ALOT of subwofers personally, and I am pretty hapy with the Alphas. Sound great, get loud, what else can you ask for you know. Everyones taste is different though.
I have owned BTL's, HD3, DD, and a few RE subs, and I will say for a daily ground pounder with quality, my Alphas are where its at.

I've owned far more various types than you, and used them in more vehicles i'm sure. Heavyweights are by far some of my favorites i've ever used/heard.. but even with that being the case.. why the hell am I switching to sd.2s? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif because i'm pretty. But on a side note, I never saw anything special about the alphas/ELEs. .. just my 2 cents

way cheaper prices on the HDC and alot of people bought the HDC because of the reputation the HD3's and aLREADY had from the past.

I know they have alot of dealers in the Atlanta area. Maybe they are more B&M now days. Which would be smarter for sure.

Good product for the most part, i would run there amps thats it, but i can buy new sundowns alot cheaper than RD amps, and i can get a Atomic 7000 cheaper than a RD 7250

I had made them for about all the woofers for steve. I was just far too busy with getting a house and everything else going on with 2 jobs a the time, I could no longer deal with it on the side. So I broke ties and moved on.

I have not messed with the ELE's though, but IMO the Alpha has better sound quality than the MAG with more output by far. I have not dealt with a mag yet, but for the reason of never having an amp that will produce that low of a power.. lol. Ok with saying that, look what sundown had, a 1500d and thats about it, a lil 1000d and a 4ch or 2ch, they came out with a whole line of shat, and it was in Jan 2007 when i was on the phone with RD talking to them about a Sponsership, didnt do it, and all last summer i had a phone call from a RD Rep everyday pushing me to buy there product, thats what really killed the vibe for me, then i could get alot better deals on sundown and atomic! Now i might be bashing, but sundown is way up there and look what they had at the start to go on and they are doing good, and people love there product!

But whoever is going to give me the best price on amps and subs on my next setup will be the one company that i go for next.
