So what problems, and what solutions does this setup have

Alright, I pieced together a system from millionbuy and friends. I ended up with:

2 - 12" Infinity Reference 1252w subs

300w RMS

1200w Max power

2000w

4 channel

Now, after a little bit of thought, That's a wee-bit too much power isn't it? With that setup what are the chances of me blowing the subs? And what are the options for me to make this setup work successfully?

That legacy amp, wont do 500 watts, much less 2000. You get what you pay for.
