06 GMC Sierra Installing Pioneer Avic-Z1

I've been hearing a few different responces about installing a pioneer avic-z1 in my truck. Some shops say it's not a problem. Others say it's to much work and they won't do it. I need some help before I spend 1800. on this I want to make sure I can install it. I also have the factory bose system option. Does anyone have any input?

you need a bose harness..Its an easy install..Any shop that says its too much work is a shop you dont want to go to. Its literaly a 1-2 hrs job.

If you have ONstar...you'll need a special adapter for that as well...even if you don't use it...
