My room mates' 97 4 door Integra got stolen right in front of our house in St. Paul. Apparently the cops found it and all they took was the stereo:confused: He had a P.O.S. JVC deck, a prefab bandpass box, and 2 Infinity 10s that I gave him being pushed by a Dual amp. My car was parked right next to his with all the equipment in my sig. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif You think they meant to hit me or do they just know how to break into Acuras?

if you have a house ......just park in the back yard by your window or somthin and leave it oprn so you can hear anything goin on
this reminds me of a story. i had a teacher who had a low 9 second 69 chevelle. when he brought it home on the trailer (a fully enclosed trailer) he used lock the trailer and back up into a fence so you couldnt really get inside and if you did you couldnt get the car out.

well i guess he didnt think everything through, because someone ended up cutting the fence out to match the door of the trailer, broke the lock, and stole the car //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

I can see my truck from my bedroom window which is why I can't believe I couldnt hear that Acura start with the fart can parked next to mine. I can't really leave my window open either because its about 10 degrees out. Our douchebag landlord wont let us park in the garage either becuase he stores his shit in there.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif

Hold up, ^ WHAT??

R u renting just a room or 2 or the whole house? If the whole house with garage, put he shit outside. Your payin rent to him for your shit, not to store his.

Why the acura and not yours?

The answer:

Acuras are simply easy to get into and steal with only a flathead, a phillips, and a hammer.

First off, lets say you got one with an alarm. Reach your hand in the front lower grill, yank hood cable (hood pops) and rip the battery terminals off

Take a flat head, pry the drivers or passenger window out of the window seal and you can bend the window back far enough to get your arm in and pop the lock.

(Honda / Acura thieves will often have bruises on their forearms from doing this, sometimes its a tight fit but it can be done every time)

Once youre in - take apart the plastic console surrounding the ignition. It can easily be ripped apart in 2 seconds. now you got a big ignition cylinder hangin out on the right. Start hammering the whole ignition assembly downwards til it breaks off (this is what unlocks the steering wheel and provides easy access for the last step).

Now that you got half the ignition hangin by some wires, you just unscrew 2 phillips that hold a round white piece to the metal key cylinder. Take your flathead and twist the screw in the middle of that plastic thing and VOILA it will fire right up (if no alarm)

If it had an alarm, you gonna have to rip the wires off the alarm speaker, connect the battery back, and you gotta push start the car. You might be driving around with the corner lights flashing but thats OK

If this person was smart enough to install a hood pin switch or a backup battery for their alarm, you know theres gotta be some goodies inside. I will describe this in the next episode.

This concludes todays episode of "How to steal a Honda or Acura - part 1"

PS i am not a honda thief - but a honda enthusiast - ive had mine stolen enough times to know how this works
