Hi, so im putting together a system . my budget is around 1500 for subs and amp. this will be a car/home system, i will be transfering them to a car next year. i will be most likely powering them with a phonic Xp5000. or 1000 watt plate amps, i will also be building the box myself. i mostly listen to rap. i will be controling them with a receiver. this will be an spl system.

amp specs

2500 wrmsx2@2ohms

5000 wrmsx1@4ohm bridged mode

i have narrowed down my decision to 1 Fi Btl 18, 1 Tc sounds 15 TC3000 and 1

cerwin vega stroker 15.

I heard that sub doesnt have any real sound quality, just gets loud (like Solo X). I'd pick up two 15" or 18" BTLs and make a huge ported box (of course to their specs) than call it a day. get 2 15" alphasonik psw912 they rated at 2500rms each. i have 2 12"s and these give loud as f$#k bass. i had mojos and kickers and these are the best ive dealt with.

mojo's get stupid loud.....shit i heard 2 mojo 15's off of a single mojo 2000d amp wiht a hsitty electical, and it STILL pounded (granted they were ina pinto)....none the less...tthose subs were seeing maybe half of what they could handle. they sound ok too...main thing is they are crazy loud. TC sounds makes some nice loud stuff (4hp, tc-5200, the lms series but i dunno if thier out yet).mojos with 2500w each will do you nicely //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif quaity built subs too
