ok so...i'm slowly starting to miss my backseat even though i love the system itself.

i've never ran a sealed enclosure, but under the seats i'd probably have to just to get enough airspace. I think i can squeeze 2-2.25 cubes net from under my seat in my ext. cab silverado.

so, what subs would perform nicely in a sealed enclosure? i had 2 12s in mind, but i'm open to ideas. i don't want to spend more than 300-350 total on whatever subs i buy. powering them would be my mc2000d. 2kw at 2 ohms, i was told 2500ish at 1 ohm, but i'd prefer to run it at 2 ohm truthfully, easier on my electric system.

im mainly looking for something that will give me the most output. sq isn't that big of a worry...

That is irrelevant seeing as how he wants something that gets loud and there are subs out there that offer much more throw than two ID subs that fit his price range. In a sealed environment, sub throw plays a huge role in getting loud. That's something that most ID subs lack (save the IDmax which is far out of his budget).

bump...need more opinions on this now. redoing my system from the ground up and all i have so far is what's in my sig, still waiting to be installed.

not sure on power or anything, but i'm almost sure i want 2 10s....i don't want to have to move my seat up any to get proper airspace for 12s. any help?

Can you fit TC10 OEM's?

They should take a ton of power and have 28mm of LINEAR X-max, my TC 1000's have 34mm of x-mech so I'm sure the OEM's have much more...

My 1000's are loud enough but silverados have more space to fit stuff. Might need a smaller box though around 1.2 cuft..

For extra output you could use PR's on them as well which saves a ton of space and boosts output.

BTW, where do you have the amp mounted?

I think you could do 2 12" TC1000's as well, probably louder than OEM 10's and they still have 25mm linear X-max //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

What about doing some 8's. Save some space, and there are a few great subs that will get plenty loud in a truck like that. Maybe like a few DD 1508s or if you like the kickers they make a beefy 8" L7 that would work nicely.
