I whent to a local audio shop and had the guys finsish up my install.

I drop the car and wait while waiting I go to check out whats going on and the guy is re wireing my subs, I ask him why and he says"You had them wired to a

1ohm load" The subs are d2. Should I take it back and tell them to fix it?

I have no idea what it's wired to now.

either .5 or 2Its not hard to wire it

Noob
I had it wired at 2ohms I tested with a ohm meter before I brought it there.

When he said they were wired at 1ohm I didn't even think abought it.

So what do you think it could be wired at now?

Should I take it back to them and have them fix it since they rewired it wrong?

I'm guessing thats how it's wired right now.

I'm thinking he thought it was a single 2 ohm. Because of the boot thing covering one set of terminals. I have put the speaker wire between them then put the boot back on.
