So i ripped a money order, shit!

When opening the envelope, i ripped a quarter inch of my USPS money order off. Is it still valid? I taped it back together and it looks fine, just wondering if this is gonna void it...

If it is a Postal money order you can probably get away with it. More that likely it will be no hassel, it has happened to me before.

thats different though, anything over 50% of any legal tender is still guaranteed redeamable by the government, a money order is more complicated, but as long as the important parts are there, it should be no problem

names, numbers on the m.o is all you should need....as long as its intact i know they could work with it..
