Can you replace a horn in yourvehicle with a diff one....like an aftermarket one?? I've been thinking about this and my horn seriously sucks.....it's like sayin please move instead of get the phuck out of the way.

Yes.

My housemate replaced the horn on her Z71 with one of those Dixie horns that sounds like the General Lee.

On an '81 Chevy P/U I had years ago I replaced the stock horns with 3-tone airhorns....sounded like a freight train after I was done. There was no way in the world you weren't gonna know I was there when I laid on the middle of the steering wheel.

The train horn (3tone) would definitely settle your need for a loud *** horn. If I can find an assembly that doesn't need, like 25 lb air tanks I'd consider throwing one in my porsche.

Yea....300 bux for a horn is a tad much for me. Something that doesn't require a air compressor would be better....in my budget range anyway. I just looked at some on Ebay.....152 dbs!!! Youch!

pa system ftw x2. it's fun to **** with people. instead of laying on the horn, jsut yell "***** GET THE **** OUTTA MY WAY OR I WILL RUN YO NAPPY *** OVER"
