A buddy of mine that lives in Bacliff said his house is gone, and his boat sunk. He is headed down there now to see if he can get his boat out.

I'll take the couple of feet of snow we get lol . You guys have it bad on the water .

Have to worry about hurricanes every year to wipe out your house .

went and looked at my house, the carport is destroyed, lost a lot of branches, a tree fell on the carport and garage but as far as the house, its ok. no broken windows. does look like i have some roof damage, but nothing that leaked in just the shingles. Still no power so i left and came back to my moms, ill have pics when my power gets turned on. I feel lucky honestly...

I wonder if the plasma would fit in my car. Make sure you tell the insurance company about those plasma's that got damaged by the storm //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif.

Other then that, glad to hear you are safe. Kinda weird knowing someone that lives so close to that thing (Hurricane Ike).

You should find out for me if help is needed in rebuilding. I have done relief work after hurricane Mitch in El Salvador. So, I am pretty sure I could handle Texas (lived there once anyway).

hell ya, im sure they can use ya, if nothing more then to clear roadways and get the lights back on. i know a lot of people lost there house on bolivar (galveston island) i saw some aerial photos and the whole island is fcked. If you do come down, im sure that tv would fit in any car, if i can get it in the backseat of a saturn, lol. lmk if you do, we can figure out the difference in shipping.
