man my house is about 10 minutes from the bay, right out of san leon which is already flooding. I wanted to stay but came up to my moms on the north side of houston. With all this talk about a 20' surge im a little worried about if ill even be going back to my house. Luckily ive got my house fully insured, but what a pain this might end up being. Do you have a jetski or a small boat? That would be one of my requirements if I ever lived in an area where there are floods and shit.

no not yet, but my house has been there for 40 years and never flooded, im on fairly high ground and there is a bayou in town which usually handles small floods. Just nothing like this.
