I paid my Maxima off last week and decided to go ahead and buy a 2nd vehicle for winter and just to keep some miles of my Maxima. I bought a very basic Compass, only options is the "bigger" 2.4l engine & 6spd auto, not even power windows or lock lol. The only mod I plan is remote start, but if I'm not mistaken the front door speakers are 8", sure gets me thinking lol....

Curious. How does it drive? I drove a '12 I believe and hated it. It felt like it was resisting the accelerator. I felt like I had to press it way more than needed, and it felt like I was on the breaks when I let off. Is it like this at all with the '14s?

I love it! That's saying something when I am use to my Maxima. No, it does not have fantastic acceleration but for a 172hp 4 banger it does good. It's quiet and comfortable. They replaced the CVT that the Compass's have had since their introduction in 2014 with a 6spd auto. The CVT had tons of issues and seemed to be a big sticking point up until they introduced the traditional auto last year.

Good deal, this was something that always bothered me about the Jeeps. My Ex-Grandma's Grand Cherokee was nice, and that was an early 2000. Seems like most cars nowa days have extremely smooth rides. Like everything is a Cadi.... I need to drive a Cadi, I need to drive my grandpas, but his it a 06 CTS. He's been talking about trading it. You should have 6x9s, not 8s. I have something in stock that should probably drop right in, if you're itching to upgrade already.
