Good price on hybrid audio imagine series?

Hello all,

I've been doing a lot of research and I think I've narrowed down my components to the HAT Imagine 6.5's. I'm a big fan of warm tweeters and mid bass (I will be treating my doors) and I feel like these are some of the better ones in my price range (less than $250. I don't need anything superb I just want to have a nice entry set for a few years to let my ears adjust to better sound. I've coming off a stock system daily so anything will sound good to me).

If I walk into one of the authorized distributors stores, what price should I be looking to score them for? I know I can get them for $299 of 12velectronics. Is that pretty much the going rate?

For HAT stuff, see if you can get a hold of @Tallc - he's had some of their stuff.

Also, look into this:

CDT Audio HD-M62
@trumpet and @VertexAudio carry them as well. From everything I've read, you'll be happy with either. DD has some decent comps as well from what I've read.

These are supposed to be sweet (like Danish) as well:
