Word. But if you got that much performance where you're spinnin em for so long, you should fly past them just as fast.

I haven't been to gateway in years. Everytime I have been its has been 16 years olds in the Dodge Intrepid their dad just bought them, and they want to race cars that are out of their leagues. Last time I was up there was for Pinks all out and I got my car and truck keyed. So I stay away from that place like a plague.

Yeah I understand. I like to stick to 1/4 mile runs but most of the tracks around either have a bad crowd or a bad track. So as of recently I just enjoy cruising in the car or a dyno queen.

Sorry to say it, but if he had any kind of idea of what he was doing, there is no way in hell that you could keep up with a 2010 GT in any kind of drag race, be it from 30-130, 50-130, off the line, whatever.If you were keeping up in any way, it's because he was teasing you. If it was a v6 OTOH, you would do a better job of keeping up.

I was Site recruiter for Bonnevilleforum and GMForum.. a Stock SSEi, GTP, Ultra, GSS, and the like with a SC 3800 will beat a v8 mustang from stop light to stop light. little known fact. If its a 5 sp Stang he will get the jump and can pull away a bit. a smaller sc pulley from ZZP on that 3800 and that 5 speed 4.6 or 5.0 with a ****** driver with good traction cant pull away

I have a buddy that just moved to Fayetteville so I'm head his way this summer. Not sure how far you are from there.

I got a 03 v6 mustang with a cai system and throttle body redone. lol with my govener it only limits me to 122. but if i took the govener off i still have another gear to go. my car is pretty quick off the line but its still nothing compared to the new cayote 5.0 and the new 3.7 liter. my neighbor has the '11 3.7 and for sh*ts and giggles i raced him. i kept up for the first gear but then once he hit second he ***** me. sorry to say.... the 3.7 would beat your car to.. lol but hey.. your car isnt the only car thats lost to the mighty "cayote" lol
