So at what point do you need upgrades?

I have been searching for at what point you need to upgrade your electrical.

Ill start with the car:

03' Grand Am 2.2L Ecotec with a 105A stock unit.

What I am putting in the Car:

Pioneer P860MP

Alpine MRPF450- 70watts RMSx4 at 4ohms

Alpine MRPM650- 600watts RMSx1 at 2ohms

Capacitor

That puts me at about 840 Watts RMS total. What upgrades if any do I need to do, or should the car be able to handle this just fine?

and u should be fine, ur not running that much power. But if u really wanted to, upgrading ur stock battery to a deep cycle (optima yellowtop, kinetik battery, etc.) would help if u wanted to. Or u can add a 2nd battery in the back. But like i said I dont think u'll really need anything cept the Big 3.

lol a bit overkill....

anyways, you should do a big 3 even if your car is stock, it makes the car start easier
