No, I Will Not Date You
Hey Guys,

I am planning on adding another amp to my system for two small Tang Band subs. The amp I will be adding is a RF 100ix. I already have a Cadence Q4000 which is rated at 4x70. I am currently running cheapo 8awg wire and I am having trouble deciding whether or not to upgrade to Knu 4awg before I add the additional amp, although I will definately upgrade down the road. I am just feeling on the fence about it since it's getting cold outside. Thanks for any good input you have!

Well, I had been thinking about keeping the 8awg and doing a distro block into two more 8awg leads, one for each amp. I know that it would help to run the new wire, I am just feeling a tad lazy and wondering how mandatory upgrading the wire is before putting in the 100ix. I am actually feeling tempted to pay somebody to do the whole thing...

Giving subs more power really wakes them up. The MRP-500 is pretty low power. You would really notice more authority in your bass.

I’m sure they will be a good budget setup. I think they will lack some midbass but door treatment is super important so definitely be sure to do...
