Snailshell Box with XXX 15 Installed (w/ Pics)

Well, I got a little time today to install the setup. Sucks though because I didn't have any time to tweak the settings due to the rain...

Here are a few pics of the build. I only took a few shots because the rain started coming and that my batteries died on my camera....

I am satisfied with the output of the setup as it stands now. However, tomorrow I will tweak everything and hopefully have a video shortly....

ya really, is that sopposed to help anything beeing made like that? never seen a box made like that before, the vent looks alot bigger than the airspace for the woofer

Let me know how good it sounds. I wanted to make one for my Brahma but wasnt sure if it was worth the extra time. Since they are very similar drivers those plans should work for my B15 as well.

its kind of like a transmission line enclosure; a labyrinth of walls and gaps....super efficient. more so than any sealed or ported enclosure. roll off and any standing waves inside the box are completely eliminated....in theory, anyway....the transmission line is any audiophiles dream enclosure.

man thats tight, i was wondering about that myself, i posted about a t-line enclosure somewhere else, and they siad the box would have to be like 12 cubic feet or some shit, how can i calculate a box like the for my eclipse 9152ti 15"?

What year is that altima? Did u have a hard time putting that box in? The box I had for my 15" brahma was a pain to get in.

This is a '01 Altima SE. And, actually I only mounted the back and the doubled front baffle to the bottom, I mounted everything else together inside of the trunk..... the box is a little too big to fit inside the trunk with it built. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
