smaller box for 12"

would a 12" woofer that has a recommended box volume of 1.25 sealed enclosure, sound good in a .92cuft box?

And would an epicenter or poly fill help?

it would be punchier, wouldnt hit very low....

may i ask why you want it smaller? space issues? if you havent already bought a sub, i would look for one that prefers smaller boxes. accomodate your needs and keep the response up to par

i bought this sub already in the enclosure, but after looking up the specs on the woofer, the box is smaller than the recommended volume. 1.25 sealed and 2.0 ported. So i was just wondering if i can get good bass from this setup(smaller box). If not i will build the right box.

Does polyfill make the woofer think theres a bigger box or vice versa?
