slot vs. aeroports

Slot is cheaper/easier to design into a box. .
you have things backwards imo...you can use an aeroport over and over, while building a smaller box aswell as less wood...in the long run, aero's are cheaper.

idk why, but you dont need near the amount of port area with aero's as you do slot ports...

cool... I'm playing around with BB6P though and it wants a REALLY long (little over a foot) 4" flared tube.. is that pretty normal? also which side should the port be on relative to the woofer? for a 25hz tuning?

That's not long at all. Seems the right length for 25hz. Mine are going to be about 18 inches long.
