slot port or round?

People usually prefer slot ports, because it's simpler to reduce port noise. You won't notice a difference between the 2 if they are built right.

(port noise is coming from jagged corners, and not wide enough ports, just so ya know.) so just make sure u have a round port, or a slot with round port edges and about 3" min. diameter.

You could try to make the port longer, but there might be other reasons with the box won't extend lower, or even the sub. You'd have to reverse...
