Slim or full size?

Well, the deal is that I want two tens and two twelves mounted in the back of my 02 mitsubishi lancer oz rally. So i go to my audio guy and he says that i should go with a set of slim subs in order to save space. I could care less about trunk space but I trust this guy and he's got some sick ideas for my box. So I go to my other audio guy and he says that they are worthless in a car. Now mind all of you that I am definitely wanting to stick with pioneer product. So #1 says i should get a set of pioneers ts-sw1241d's and a set of ts-sw1041d's. I want a set of w2502spl's and a set of w2504spl's. But I want to know if it'll be worth it. I plan on doing some competition and a lot of the comp around here is open comp for anyone. Main reason is cause I'm sick of hearing everybody always talking about how sweet my neighbors stereo is. MINE WILL BE BETTER!!!!! So should I just go all out? I am worried that the box for the latter will be too big for my trunk and I suppose I could cut down on the number of subs but dont really want to when I've got four infinities effing up my thunder. What do you guys think?

2 10's and 2 12's eh?

Why shouldn't I mix two sub sizes? I've heard a setup like that before and it sounded sick. The guy with it told me that he used the 12s for the low drone bass and the tens for that hard crisp smack. No thanx on the 18.

so I thought lancers were supposed to be quick.... 120 horse? haha I was gonna say dont put a system in it at all, but now that I see that, I would put a couple 06 15" XXX's in there on a HK4000d?

Na, the evolution is the fast one. I think they roll off at about 240 horse and with an ecu reflash blow right up to 450 is what ive heard. I cant afford the evo let alone the insurance on it but the oz rally is definitely way better than alot of whats out there. cough cough (whispers civics) cough cough. Well, so if he had had like all 12s or tens in there, it would have sounded much better than what it did? I think I'll go with the three 12's. I guess different sizes falls right into the same category as mixing brands.

271-286 Hp, 400 hp is easily & reasonably do able but its take more than just a re flash of the ECM.
