Slim Amps = *** /// Helix

supposadly theyre worth every cent...dont know...as i said had their esprit line....sq amps to the core..helix put out a new precision line 4 channel...tubes:)
I believe they take 0 guage in the new Esprit lines.

Alpine has slim amps also, saw them at a trade show a bit ago, they are about half as thin as the one in the first page. JL has thin amps also, they are even thinner than the Alpines. saw them at CES last year and they're showing them at CES this year again. Cant find pics of them online.

i don't recall JL having any thin amps, unless u think the slash series is thin. PDX isn't thin either, it's just tiny

x2. PDX amps are small indeed, but they are almost twice as thick as these Helix amps.

And they charge a huge premium for their "nothing special" amps. They are priced about like late 80's early 90's US made amps. Those amps were just as transparent (the only measure of the SQ of an amp) but made good power, too. These are kinda weak by comparison.

BTW, if they are fully Class A output topology, they would be the first car amps I know of that are. Even the old Soundstream Class As were only a Class A input stage.

http://www.mobilesq.com sells Helix, Brax and DLS online. Used to be they were the only authorized online dealer for any of them. Not sure if that's still the case.

nope not slash. theyre a new line called "HD" and like i said, they showed them at CES last year and theyre showing them again this year. I cant find a picture but theyre as thin as the one in the first post and about a 1/4 of the size and put out 600watts.
