Audiotec-Fischer is very highly respected amplifier manufacturer in europe.

Helix is Audiotec-Fischers mid-end brand and Brax is the high-end.

The sound is very sophisticated and neutral, yet it's warm and present.

jeez that thing is freakin nice i wonder if they heat up like other amps do. Does anyone know if they run the same or hotter/cooler than some other amps? that would be sweet if it ran cool as well.

I think it depends on how you mount them. The whole bottom part is part of the heatsink.

I have been around these amps alot lately. Of course that's due to the fact that I am currently living in Germany. The amps sound good, but are not over rated as far as power is concerned. Tests here have shown them to put out just under or right at their rated power. They are nice looking amps and pretty cheap over here. I can get the 5-channel for about $300 or so. They are sold at the large volume "Best Buy" like store here called Media Markt. Alot of people use them in SQ competitions here and do well with them. I think that their power output is due to them being so small, they are very tiny amps relatively speaking. Of course I have no problem with an amp that does rated power, I am just so accustomed to amps that do more than rated power...lol.
