SLC v. Type-X

Hey. need some help here. I need to decide on a new set of comps and I came down to between a set of Alpine Type X SPX-177R comps and a set of Rainbow SLC 265 comps.

I can get either one for about $200 so the price difference isn't a factor but need input on which set is better, SQ and such. Thanks.

I'd say thats a close one, but everyone else will probably say the Rainbows. I havent owned either.

id take the slc's any day over the type x's...I have owned the type x'x and they are anything but impressive....

Type Xs are so-so, a little too "layed back" lacking fullness in the sound. I myself am gonna be ordering SLCs for myself soon
