Sky High 2/0 OFC

I purchased a couple feet of Sky High 2/0 OFC cable to use for my battery/chassis and engine/chassis grounds. I also bought 2/0 copper lugs and they certainly don't fit! I take it I need some 3/0 lugs for this 2/0 Sky High cable? Thanks!

Never had any but ive heard that have incredibly oversized wire. You can but oversized 2/0 connectors

All you have to do is trim the wire down a little. It worked on all my connections

there should be split in the middle of the lug, try prying it open a little bit for clearance.

SKy High 2/0 is near as big as 4/0 (actual 4/0). This is the problem with buying car audio wiring, there is no standard.... Welding cable has a set standard and they are all exactly the same. Not "this 1/0 is bigger" crap.. Just buy Sky High's 2/0 connectors or buy 4/0 welding cable connectors.

Thanks. Precisely what I did. Ordered a small run of 2/0 welding cable. My 1/0 run is welding cable anyways. Also I am not in the habit of trimming wire to fit a lug. Doesn;t make sense to me!

This is my method when soldiering my SHCA 1/0 to the SHCA Lugs. Take a zip tie and wrap it around your stripped end of wire, put it in the lug, cut the zip tie off and bam.

Car Quest has up to 4/0 ring terminals. Picked up some more 2/0 and 4 gauge yesterday. 2/0 was $1.60 each.
