I put together a few designs in sketchup for 4-12s. Since it will be in a blowthrough there are a few angled boards which are making it hard for me to determine the overall volume and tuning. Can one of you guys help me out? I'm aiming for 8@33
Ok thanks. I have an account already so I'll go give that a shot.go to http://photobucket.com/ create an account then go to your sketch up click file then export cllick export 2d make sure to change file type to j.peg
then go to your photobucket and up load the newly formed j.peg
Yeah that center section is pretty big. But when I asked Jack, the guy with the 6-15'' LV4XLs in a blowthrough, how the center section effects the tuning he said just make it bigger than the port (which in my case is 9'') and it shouldn't effect it.sounds about right how tall is it ?cuz @ 15 in tall the whole box 40"x40"x15" only = 11.5
thats just the square not counting braces, subs , or that giant azz port so 3.7 sounds about right 3.7+3.7=7.4 11.5-7.4=4.1 that is a big horn
I like your thinking man but my truck is a stepside so the wheel wells aren't that big inside the bed. It wouldn't add a ton of space but a little is better than none.no it should be fine how much air do your subs want? if you need more just build the box to drop in around the wheel wells rather than between them should add bout 2 cubes total one each side that'll put you over 9 cubes total w/o changing your port and horn ratios
