Skar VVX V2 opinions?

Hey guys, couple questions about the skar vvx v2. I'm looking to do a build in my girlfriends truck and originally was going to go with 2 10's but I won't have the space for a proper enclosure. I've decided to go 1 12 with around 2-2.5 cubes net.

She listens to primarily hip hop and r&b so the tuning will probably be around 34-36 hz.

Just want to know if anyone has used the v2 yet and what are there opinions? Tried to look up some info on it but instead I just found lots of hate for the company owner haha.

I want to go the d2 model, wire down to .5 ohms. I'm guessing I'll see between. 1.25-1.5 ohms after rise into an elemental designs nine.1 so the sub will probably be seeing 1200 ish watts

I guess my main question is, will this sub be able to handle that much wattage daily? Say I am able to get 1200 into it, would that kill it quick?

If you keep the gains down. They are able to take 1k daily but 1200 might be a little much. Keep gains down for a bit. If that amp does 1200 at 1 ohm and 900 at 2 ohms, youll be fine. Still keep gain down a bit and smell for burnt coils.

Ok thanks for the input. I appreciate it. The elemental designs is rated at 12.8v instead of the typical 14.4 so their ratings of 900 @2ohm and 1200@1ohm are generally considered very underrated. For her electrical, I'll be staying with the stick battery up front and putting an old shuriken skbt55 I have laying around (still resting at 12.7) and big 3 upgrade but that's it so I imagine I'll be seeing some voltage drop.

Any recommendations as far as enclosures go? I'm not seeing much on what type of space they like to see
