Skar EVL 18 VS. SSA ICON

I can see where this is headed. Tell us all to fuckoff...gets the 18s anyway....gets a box going from losissatool, the stupid one, then finds out it don't sound good. Why? Because he doesn't have enough airspace.
Why is it you must have 18's that the 15's can't do?

Ive designed a few boxes for people here. Never had a complaint. Most people cant do 147 with two 15s i did 147 with on in the trunk no tuning.

Man that's bunk... sorry I had to say it!.. There is a local guy with 2 12's that plays at around 152 db and it goes LOW... of course he is running a DD M4b with 9512's but the box is a masterpiece and huge as well... you should see/feel it!

Good numbers down low dont mean that its overall loud. Ill wager he cant do a 140 at 55hz.. but like you said if loud and low is the objective its fine..

I put up a 147 in the trunk with no tuning just a basic ****** box facing the rear.

No doubt ill break 150 once i optimize the phase and tuning.
