yes. I've drilled a striaght hole with a drill bit for my alarm wires with no grommets nothing and never had any problems. As long as theres not any tention on the wire you will be fine.

run the wire along the outside of your car. Open your door than run it inside the crack lol

If this is a neon install, why are you running the power straight off of the battery? I hope you are planning on putting a switch on it. Why not run it off of the fuse for the lights? That way, the neon come on when you turn your lights on. You don't want your neon running 24/7. As for the ring terminals, you can get them with different size holes, in the same wire gauge size. Just gotta look for them. I still think a ring terminal on the battery for an 18ga wire is a bad idea. Lots of other ways to get power to an accessory using that size wire.

I've never met someone who drills a hole in their firewall for a ****in single 20 gauge wire in my life.

And it'd be a lot easier if you didn't run it directly to the battery, but whatever...

wow. take a ****ing electrical class in school, i'm sure they have some. It's all common sence/ basic electrical skills and very easy information to find on YAHOO. wire the lights to any acc. wire in the car.

I'm not trying to be a dick, but you will NEVER learn if people just hand you out information. You have to do some thinking on your own man.
