Yeah, i encountered that problem when i had my 6" psp. From each edge is 9.25, but there is a little "flush" lip that it sits in that like said above is 8.75.

its actually 8.25

I just cut 3 holes for em in a box like a week ago, 8.25 each, very snug fit

I'm trying to see if I can fit three of them on the front baffle of my "prototype" wall...but I can't make them fit. I can do a couple of 8" ports though...or just stick with the 22.5"x6.5" slot port I was originally thinking of using.

can you fit bigger than 8's? would be sweet with a couple 12's

If I go any bigger than a couple of 8's, I end up with too long of a port for the ~34hz tune I'm wanting. But two 8" ports do have a little more area than three 6"ers.

Yeah, it'd be pretty hideous looking...I'll just stick with the interchangable slot port I thought of earlier.
