Well, you don't NEED kicks, but they do help.

If you do put the tweeters in the dash, make sure to go with soft dome tweeters.

Another alternative that you could go with (which I am going to do), is either have a shop (or you could do this) install the mid bass in the stock location and then within a few inches of it (probably no more than 6) cut out a hole in the door to flush mount the tweeters. I don't think that they'd charge too much for this. Probably $70 or so.

I forgot this little bit of info.

Ok, so if you don't want to deal with components (making kicks, or mounting the tweeter in the door, or putting it in the stoock locations and then always wondering what it would sound like in kicks) you could get these Memphis Coaxials. They are superior to many component sets (I know it is hard to believe, but trust me), and they would definitely obliterate those Infinity's. The only problem I see with them compared to component sets is that the lack a little in the mid bass (only when compared to componeents and dedicated mid bass drivers), but trust me, they sound just as good and better than many sets out there. i wish i just knew what i want, it would make things alot easier lol. im gonna look around at a few different comps & speakers and then ask your opinion on them...
