Funny... when prescribed and taken properly, I've seen it regulate periods consistently, make cramps and pains less intense, and generally be a huge blessing.
Everyone's different, but I'd personally bank on improper use or some underlying problem if the above is happening.

Just because shes on the pill doesnt mean shes not pregnant. Its 99.99% effective for a reason that reason is most women don't take the pill right. Also about the pill makes women crazy is due to the fact how the pills work. There's several different pills on the market made up of not only different hormones but different binders. If your women doesnt know what she exactly needs and she just handed a pill, well . . . . Have fun for the next 6 to 8 weeks for her body to adjust. btwftmfw my girlfriend is a *** major and the way she work well is really unique. Now as for the original question tell her to go to a free clinic and get a "morning after pill" its a up'ed version of a BC pill just to make sure. Oh for an explanation for the ones that say there girls get odd periods is because the pills hormone is way off from what she actually needs. I'm sorry for misspellings or poor grammar and punctuation as its late and I need sleep. If she dosnt go get the pill, well then I guess you have a problem

Athletic strain can cause differences in periods.

Here, to make the list short of what can't **** a period cycle up.

So my girlfriend just informed me that she is late for her period. She is on the pill and we don't use condoms. I also do not pull out. She is only two days late but she told me ever since she started the pill she has never been late. She doesn't have any normal pregnancy symptoms and just started basketball season so is under a little stress. Am i overreacting?

its because of basketball. when women work out a lot it delays their period. female marathon runners might only get 3 or 4 periods a year. the pill is not 99.9% more like 90-95% the pill with a condom is almost 99.9% but ive still known some one that got pregnant with the pill and condom.

it is possible that she is pregnant but i would put money on it being because of basketball.

Kick her in the stomach just to be sure. Or start grinding up her pills and putting them in her drink just to make sure she is taking them like she says she is.
