Single Voice Coil, 2 connections?

I have a pair of ID CX62's that are listed as single voice coil on the ID website. When looking at the speakers there is the + and - terminal on one side, and on the other side another set of metal connections. Am I find just wiring + to + and - to - and not worrying about the 2nd set of metal tabs?

What do you mean by "metal connections" ??

I don't know of any mfg that makes a dual voice coil midrange driver. I'm not saying they don't exist but I can't see ID doing that. Those connections are probably just for optional connections.

It doesn't appear as though there are any lead wires soldered to the other set of terminals so I would say it's a single coil and you can safely ignore them.

I'm sure if you took out the screws, the terminals would come right off without anything attached to them.
