Single capable amp needed to push 2 12" bone crushers.

On the positive side being cea compliant is a huge plus. On the down side @1500rms it just wouldnt cut it, it will overheat in no time, an the fact that a heat rating isnt given is an automatic no. Rockford does make good amps though... An at 1KAUS Its a huge gamble... [emoji22]

You're WAYYY off base here... LOL!... that amp is a lot stronger than you believe it is... that's a RF BDCP 1500.. LOL!.. it is Very powerful...

If you believe those subs are 800 RMS then do the Rockford... it will be at or past your car's electrical... I do not think you understand what to look for in an amp if you do not think that amp is sufficent... I'm out...

Your CAB will outlast this amp by a mile.

Okay so I just read somthing about the amp being able to increase internal voltage by 25% when it's needed... That grabbed my attention... I just need it's max heat/wattage rating.. If u can find it I'll be really great full. I'm gona look aswell.

Not impressed. I can already see copied design from other mfgr that pretty much have same similarities.
YEAH look like some copies, some specs look same too but can't see basket to see if straight rip off, so far looks like different dust cap, if it's 3" coil about like dark audio..

That is a KILLER 1500 watt amp... make no mistake about it being insufficient for your... "bonecrushers"... LOL!... it would push my subs well... unless you compete it probably will be the last amp you buy for a LONG time...

no man no..
I had no intention is buying any one of these mate.. Not by a long shot or I wouldn't be on here.. I'm gona take your advice shredder... I'm gona purchase 1 right now.

Just bought 2 bone crushers. Specs are 800RMS @2000WATTS DEUL 4OHM. currently running them at 4ohms each with a pdx-1.1000. As an alpine fanatic alpine does not currently have a single amp capable of running these bad boys am I'm not too keen on having a 2 amp setup because of the issue of boot space. I'm not too when it comes to brands other than alpine as I'v just decided to re vamp my entire sound system an in need of a much bigger power supply.

There is so much fail going on here OP. I don't think you ate understanding all of your set up. You have two dvc 4 subs (it's dual BTW, not deul or duel), right?

You can't run them each at 4 ohms. You could run the pair at 4ohm (series) or 1ohm (parallel). You can run one sub at 8ohm or 2ohm.

So your Amp is going into protect because you are running it at 1ohm most likely and most alpine stuff isn't stable that low.

You do not have 2 500w channels. You have a mono block amp, that means 1 channel. 1000.1 that one at the end means 1 channel. Two sets of speaker terminals doesn't equate to two channels, it's only 1 channel those terminals are internally connected. So you should have probably got dvc2 subs so that you could wire at 2 ohms, but for now if you don't want to fry your Amp, you should wire in series @4 ohm or just run 1 sub at 2ohms.

The amp has 2 channels not 1. 2 plugs 2 channels mate. U think I haven't wondered why it's labelled as pdx 1.1000 cause believe I did!! An yes you can run them at 4ohms if your using 1 channel on each of them[emoji25] but at the end of the day... I was experimenting.. I'm in new waters here an trying out new configurations.. Your input is valued mate.

most mono amps have 2 outputs to make it easier to connect 2 subs.. yeah i was gonna tell u to look at cab amp maybe best for u but shipping is stupid, if u can get that rf he was talking about i'd do that..

Believe me, it has one Channel. That's what mono block means Mr know it all. Omg you have no idea what you are talking about. You cannot wire a single dvc 4 ohm sub @4 ohm, trust me. Your final load was not 2 ohm it was 1 ohm and that is the problem.

2 sets of outputs doesn't mean two channels. Believe me, it fools a lot of people who have no idea what they are doing... Like you.

You need 1500-2000w @1 ohm. When you get your head out of your azz and figure out that 2 dvc 4 subs wire at 1ohm. Come back and thank me.

I have two dvc 4 subs @1ohm in my truck right now on 1500w btw

That's a 1st. I'v never heard that b4 but I am taking it all in as it comes. I'v never owned a 1 ohm amp b4 an looking 4ward to seeing what they can do.
