Single cab chevy

I would have to ask the customer or installer but I think I would have heard something if any function was lost. Shifting the console an inch gave nice clearance is all I heard.
I like the E series but I love these 6.5 that are available thru a local supplier. The brand is newish but solid imo. Overbuilt and underrated. I talk smack to him constantly about his 8's. 8" subs seem to find a way into underseat enclosures and these things can be a challenge to fit... lol

The 6.5" subs are like 5.5" depth iirc and very beefy too.
Those are beefy. I’ll keep those in mind for sure.

Ok so I have a 2013 single cab Silverado. I currently have a single sundown sa10 classic in a ported box behind the passenger seat to fit the sub I had to add a 3/4 msg spacer. I love the way it sounds but don’t like the fact that the seat has to be up quite a bit I was looking at getting rid of the whole setup and getting a new ported box built with 2-10s. Possibly going with 2 sundown sld or 2 sundown ev6. Any advice and what would sound better the sld or the ev6 and how it would compare to my sa10?
In my single cab S10 I ran a box that was 17 and a half tall by 49 and a half wide 4 in top and nine and a half inches bottom. the seats went all the way back and I ran the four 10s on high-powered sealed and it sounded awesome.
I would say with the space you have you could easily fit four 12s sealed behind the seats and still have your seats go all the way back and if you run them on high power it will sound super good.
If you did ported I've seen two 12 setups like that with the port either to the side or coming up from the corner of the box that sounded pretty good too.

I think my main problem is the fact I had to add the spacer due to the sa10 having a bigger mounting depth. From the research I did I should be able to comfortably get about 2 cubic feet so I think 10s would work. I had looked at some 8s also but most of them are deep as well I’m thinking I need something with about a 5.5 mounting depth.

The VFL8's have just under a 5-½" mounting depth with 120 oz. magnets. 2 on a Sundown SFB1500 would work perfect. Or, just use your amp. They are also 600 watts rms.

I would add an ANL Fuse @the amplifier supply with its recommended 100 ANL fuse, and Keep the 120-150 @the Battery...

Well the setup I mentioned cost around 1,000 USD in my country and an extra 500 USD for the DPS. HU? The car display? I plan to stay with original

2x 4 ohm coils can be wired parallel to 2 ohms or series to 8 ohms. There's many amps with 2 ohm power you can use.
