Single 12 box

I have a Rockford fosgate t2 I sent to psi for a recone making a new box. It would be 2.94 cubes tuned to 36hz is this to big of a box

That's a pretty big box for a 12. I would do at max 2.5 cubes. I would also change tuning down to 32 hz or so for my preference.
