I disagree I do not like the look of diagonal laid out tile. Also, in the case of what we were doing, diagonal tile wouldnt work. The normal layout of the tile was chosen due to the furnature and persian rugs that are on the floor.

to each his own bro, guess it depends on taste and decor.

I just move from South Florida to TN a year ago and the decor in FL tends to be more modern and contemporary then traditional, so that what I like.

Money well spent and tastfully done, althou I would done a few things differently...

Ive had diagonal tile in home before. I personally think it looks better outside on a spanish style patio and not inside. The home was remodeled exactly how my mother wanted. This was her retirement gift from my father. They will retire there. She is 100% happy with how it turned out with no complaints.
