Goob is not on here enough to strip someone of their mod powers. For the most part mods know more about what is going on with this site, than Goob does. Goob seems to have made it a point to get on here alot more, so that counts for something...

It's easier to ignore the question than to say anything at all. Without new people posting there would be no reason for this to be a forum. Those that want to help them will.

I can assure you I have helped a ton of new guys. But it gets rather annoying when the same question is asked a million times, and no searching is being done. Seems like everyone is lazy, and wants to be told the answer, without doing any work to get that answer.....

Imagine you just got a new system and it's your first one or the first one you have screwed up and you look online for help. Would you sit and search for gobs of information that would send you on search for different information just to understand what you just read? Some people don't know what a coil, spider, motor, imp, imp rise, the importance of a box, tuning, TS specs, or even knew the world outside of mainstream bestbuy. If you want to have people get started by giving them a load of information they can't handle there would be hardly an new enthusiasts. Rather you should give them small bits of info on their problem, they appreciate it and come on the site to see what's up, start reading and don't understand so they take it upon themselves to learn it rather then get overwhelmed by trying to figure out what went wrong with their system that they want working asap.

Besides the search button still wouldn't be much good since they have to decide which troll to believe and which not to when they get the recent threads.
