i am assuming you want one driver, to get the most from this amp you will want either a 2ohm svc that can handle 1000rms, or a 4ohm dvc @1000rms

check the classifieds for a deal...

edit: if you don't want to spend the money for a 1000wrms sub, then find one that can do 600rms @4ohm

or one cvr with the gains set accordingly...yes...just one, because you can build or have built a box that will make it sound outstanding it may be up to 7 or 8 cubes though

honestly i am not a fan of alpine subs....and the r is spl oriented

you looking for this to be loud, or do you want some sq as well(i should have asked earlier)?

i got the alpine amp (mrp-m1000) for cheap so i couldnt pass it up.... now i am stuck and dont know what to do.. i wanted to get some door speakers and 6x9s and an amp but need to get subs first....
