Odd noise coming from rear speakers.

This only happens sometimes, but it bugs the crap out of me! My rear speaks are hooked up to my amp and every so often this noticeable "humming" feedback kind of noise will come from the rear speakers. It will get higher in pitch if I get on the gas a bit and get lower as I let off the gas.

What could this be coming from?

Sorry for what might be a dumb question, but "h/u"? Are you talkin about the ground connection on the amp or to the car?

But those speakers are hooked up through an amp. How would it be the ground on the head unit? Wouldn't it be the ground on the amp then?

Yes my bad, missed the part about being hooked to an amp the first time. Check the ground on your amp.

OK guys, after a long time of reorganizing the wires and doing everything else in my power to figure this out, this is what I still know.

It still makes the noise, BUT... Only when the car is on. I mean when the engine is running. Even if I turn the key all the way over and DONT turn the engine on, it doesn't make the noise. But as soon as I turn it over and start that engine, GZZZZZZZ, that annoying humm from the back starts up. Sometimes it's real low, sometimes loud, sometimes not even there at all!

What is this!? I'm losin my mind over this!
