Simple HU -> Speaker Wiring Question.

Changing the set-up in my car. I'm only gonna run the front speakers. Should I wire the front and rear from each side to each speaker(In other words, front/right and rear/right to the right speaker) in order to get the most power to each speaker since the front and rear is the same signal to the speaker anyway? Or will my head-unit automatically send all of the power to the front if I just wire them to that one?

If it matters at all, here are links to my older Pioneer head-unit and Infinity Kappa 62.5i speakers

What you're talking about is bridging the head unit amp to the speakers. This isn't safe. Just wire the front speaker wires and leave the rear speaker wires taped off unused. Are you removing the rear speakers?

Yeah, taking out the rears. One of the rear speakers tore at the foam around the cone. They were the old stock ones so I'm not too upset. I just didn't know if I should then run the rear wires to the front speakers too to get more power since my HU only does 22rms and the front speakers are rated for 75rms. If it's not a good idea then I'll just tape off the rear speaker wires like you said. Don't want to fry anything.
