I have a kenwood excelon amp wired to 1000 @ 1 ohm and its has to external fues (30A) ive blown 3 set in 3 weeks i was suggested to upgrade to (40A) normally not suppose to be done but it would have better effiency someone said to uprgade

i was thinking since my inline fuse on my power wire was 80A that might but to much for 2 (30A)

will any damage be done if upgrade to 40A

A higher amperage fuse will not provide "better efficiency." As stated above, NEVER replace a fuse with a larger one because it is blowing. Indeed, I say never replace a blown fuse at all until you know why it blew in the first place. Fuses are all that stands between you and an electrical fire. Check out your wiring, your speaker wiring, and your speakers. Make sure nothing is loose or shorted or blown. If it all looks (and meters) good, then get your amp checked out you may have blown it.
