Hey, I decided to stop cluttering up my agreement thread. I'm having a hard time deciding what rims and tires to get for my 2007 Silverado:

Budget is flexible. On Friday, I'll have about $1,250. Every two weeks after that, I'll get another $250.

I just rotated my tires, but I should have done it sooner. I didn't have the time, and wasn't paying a shop to do it. I'll post pics after I get them uploaded to photobucket.

I really like plain 5 spoke rims. Either black, white, or grey. NO CHROME!

These are the ones I'm seriously considering:

How big is too big? If my current tires last me long enough to buy 30" rims, that's what I'm planning to do.. lol. The longer these tires last, the larger budget I'll have.

If you have any suggestions or know of great deals, please share!

Yes, I know the ride will be shitty

I was thinking 22's or larger. Really leaning towards 24's right now because they're not too expensive and still look great

I had them in 24s... I'm telling you guy 22s look tiny on these big trucks. My 24s looks like 20s.. I wouldn't get anything smaller then 24s.

Those are sick! I may seriously take you up on that offer.

I won't have the money for a while, but would you consider a partial trade for my custom N3's? If not, I'll list those up for sale cheap

if your dropping it go 22 or 4s, if your leaving it stock height go bigger. trucks look ugly with big ol wheels gap if you have flash rims. take a look at this IG give you an idea of the so cal street truck scene and you'll find just about every truck lowered on wheels

the hell did you do to wear those tires down so fast? Fastest i've gone through a set was 25k and I considered that terrible (firestone destination a/t's have bad longevity).

did you never rotate them? they don't even look badly cupped, just a little. those must be some really ****** tires ..

Decided on these 24's:

I really don't like chrome rims, which is what most of those trucks have. Going with 24's and just lowering it two inches. Nothing crazy.

First of all, they were mud-terrain tires. They are extremely soft and knobby. Unfortunately, I didn't do too much off-road with them, so that was a waste.

Also, I like to drift a lot. My friends and I sometimes get to gether at the school parking lot and just do doughnuts and stuff. Not much to do in this town..

No, I've never rotated them. Should have done that a while ago, but i didn't have the time. Working two jobs every day and spending quality time with someone, plus trying to find time for my audio build..

I will definitely be treating my next tires better. Learned it the hard way. Last tires were ~ $1,200 and these rims and tires are $1,590 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
